The article deals with the works of Lesya Ukrainka in a multicultural context, which is a valuable source for historical reconstruction of concrete and holistic view of the cultural epoch. Multicultural context, that Lesia Ukrainka used in Ukrainian literature allows also to introduce not only the Ukrainian, but the world culture as well, specific creative works of the poet and how it is that context determines the reality of the culture.
