How to tell students about academic integrity

Ph.D. Zavadska Victoria held a scientific and methodological seminar "How to tell students about academic integrity" in December 2020. The oral material was accompanied by a presentation, which is recommended for demonstration to students. The material covered the following issues: the concept of copyright, presumption of authorship and plagiarism (under Article 11, paragraph 2 of the Law of Ukraine on Copyright and Related Rights); co-authorship, anonymous authorship, object of copyright; ways to protect copyright (under Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine on Copyright and Related Rights); rules of citation and registration of references; rules of registration of the bibliographic list.

This material is currently relevant for the Ukrainian academic community at various levels, so it is important that students correctly understand the basic principles of academic integrity and adhere to them. This material is also useful for anyone who writes research papers or is involved in practical research.
