Ukrainisms in today’s Russian-speaking media text
The article is devoted characteristic features Ukrainisms use in the Russian newspaper speech, their classification and determine ways to adapt and functions that they perform in journalistic speech. The relevance of this study is caused by the lack of scientific consensus on the nature Ukrainisms and their functions in a foreign language discourse. Article benefited periodicals socio-political direction for 2012-2014.
Material study illustrates the tendency to increase such units in the discourse of special purpose expression, expression of positive or negative evaluation or formation of a certain image of the country, government officials, organization or institution. Ukrainian tokens attract the reader’s attention and thus serve important stylistic and stylistic task.
