The multifaceted work of by Iris Murdoch is considered from different points of view, but philosophical hermeneutic dimension of text leaves a vast field of problems, which can be expanded by individual receptive interpretations those are “new interpretations” each time with regard to a new cultural situation.
The Purpose of the article is to decode the basic problem of text ‘The Black Prince’ by Iris Murdoch that is the problem of love in hermeneutical reflection in order to expand on it in terms of subjective, existential experience and understanding of it representative – the protagonist of the novel, which is both subject and object.
