Some features of terminology translation into Ukrainian are considered. The key point of the article is the difference between IT-terminology translation and other
types of translation. Also problems related to use of intermediate translation
language are outlined and origination of unnatural, not agreed with language
standard, terms in Ukrainian is discussed. Some practical advices are formulated.
