The specificity of spatiotemporal perception of events in the people mind is discussed in the paper. This is considered in relation of such short and mobile genre as anecdote. In particular, the anecdotes related to Chernobyl accident are discussed: the perception of tragedy in the present, the projection on the future consequences, from the perspective of past relating to present through the future as well as modern perception of this subject often relating to accident sideways. The Chernobyl anecdote series shows the different types of attitude to environment coming from time changes.
