FOREIGN BORROWING – GOOD AND BAD
The emergence of a large number of words of foreign origin, their rapid uptake and binding language is explained by the rapid changes in our social and academic life. Global processes of globalization and integration, expansion of international relations, the exchange of scientific ideas and technologies, the Internet with its virtually inexhaustible possibilities interaction and interpenetration of cultures – all this has led to the emergence of a significant number of Ukrainian language of foreign words.
New words before replenished terminology group serving those areas of life that are actively developing. First of all, it’s the economy, computer science, the political sphere.
Modern researchers believe that the number of loans in modern Ukrainian language is more than 10%. At the same time the emergence of new foreign words
– is not a phenomenon of recent decades, and the constant development of the language. Most experts–philologists refer to this positively, because they believe that the language – a living organism that is constantly changing with the development of society.
