Thesis on “The History of Photography in Ukraine” are intended to highlight the main historical stages of formation the photography school in Ukraine, to tell about major and famous photographers in the history of photography. Thesis are divided into 4 main parts - an introduction to the topic, the description of the first stage of development the art of photography - the arrival of new technology to Ukraine, the development of photography in 1840-1910, so names “golden age” of photography in Ukraine; the next section - photo in the days of the USSR in 1917 - 1990, narration about prominent artists, their work and the impact on the perception of the world by inhabitants of the “great country”; last section contains information about the development of photography in contemporary Ukraine, information about modern photographers, that open Ukraine to the whole world through impressive photos. It appears that the thesis fully illuminate the formation and development of a new type of art in Ukraine and acquaint with established and contemporary Ukrainian artists.
