In this article the term “spiritual space” means not only aesthetic achievements of medieval culture, but also a system of mental, social and psychological ways of thinking and behavior of Western and Eastern societies. Intellectual-rational principle dominates in the western theologian that has an influence on everyday life, in its relation to work and wealth. The Eastern Church has chosen the other way: through internal act that is difficult to express by rational categories – a revelation, repentance, confession, prayer that means spiritual aspirations is significant part of redemption of a man. According to Neo-Platonic doctrine, spirituality is taken as the top of the world spirit and at level of soul, the way to God lays not in rational outlook, but in existential world perception.
