Intercultural communication problems in the era of globalization

Scientific and methodical workshop “Intercultural communication problems in the era of globalization”.

The scientific and methodical workshop focuses on consideration of such an urgent issue of the existence of our modern civilization as intercultural communication. It is noted that in the postnational world one can observe a significant increase in misunderstandings and contradictions between different cultural groups, i.e. ethnic, religious – rather than decrease. Since 2015 the migrant crisis has occurred within the EU, therefore these problems are particularly strongly felt here. Considering intercultural communication as a “dominant reality” of the era of globalization, it is emphasized on the need to “learn to show solidarity provided that linguistic cultures and traditions differ”.
